4 to 8 chicken breasts
1 egg beaten
corn starch
oil
Dip chicken into egg, then roll in cornstarch
In a small amount of oil, fry chicken til brown
Place chicken in shallow baking pan and pour sauce over it, then bake it uncovered at 325 degrees for one hour, stirring chicken every 15 minutes
SAUCE
3/4 cup brown sugar
4 tblsp ketchup
1/2 cup vinegar
1 tblsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp garlic powder
**Mix all ingredients together
(I triple this to have LOTS of sauce!)
Serve with rice---YUMMY!!
I have also done this recipe without frying the chicken and just put raw chicken in this sauce and cook it for an hour on 400--put a little corn starch in the sauce to thicken it and it is GREAT!!!
