Mom's 1/2 & 1/2 Bread

2 tblsp yeast
1/2 cup warm water
5 cup hot tap water
2 tblsp salt
2/3 cup oil
2/3 cup honey or raw sugar
6 cups white flour
6 cups wheat flour

Sprinkle yeast in 1/2 cup water and let stand 15 minutes (1 tblsp sugar helps) Combine hot water and 7 cups flour. Mix on low speed until blended. Add 1 cup flour to mixture. Add yeast mixture and blend. Add 3 to 4 more cups of flour. Knead for 10 minutes on LOW--until dough cleans off the bowl. Oil hands and put in pans--Let raise.

Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.
